Global Takeover "Professional Hair Care Created by Hairstylists for Hairstylists”

Philippe Schaedler is a respected stylist with over three decades in the hair and beauty industry. Originally from Austria and a citizen of Fürstentum Liechtenstein, he now works primarily out of Los Angeles, California.

He began his hairstyling career at just 14, training in Europe before advancing his education in the United States. His expertise in modern styling and color has earned him an international clientele, with regular work trips to Amsterdam and Vienna.

Trained at the Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy and the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, Philippe carries forward the high standards of these renowned institutions, both of which have since closed after the Covid pandemic.

Philippe is also the founder of MOND, a professional hair care brand created by hairstylists, for hairstylists. MOND continues expanding globally and maintains a strong partnership with its Netherlands distributor, HB&A Wholesale and Education, bringing MOND’s innovative products to professionals and clients across Europe.

Ironically, life in the snow was the catalyst that brought Philippe to sunny California. His aunt and uncle owned a ski resort hotel in Austria, where Philippe lived and worked when he was a young man. He befriended some visiting ski resort residents from Los Angeles. One invitation to spend a summer with them in Los Angeles was all it took for Philippe to dive head first into his love affair with the sunny state. Philippe holds an Austrian Hairdresser license, and since his first visit in 1986 also holds a California Cosmetology license, and is California State Board Certified to train Apprentices. Through the years he has obtained numerous Hairdressing Education Diplomas from Vidal Sassoon (a beloved mentor) and Toni&Guy. Philippe's other mentors include Anthony Mascolo and James Morrison from Toni&Guy.

Hair, There & Everywhere

When Philippe isn’t standing beside his clients, transforming their hair with precision and artistry, you might find him working on photo shoots for clients in Vienna or Amsterdam.
Outside the studio, he spends time with friends — many of whom he considers family — or exploring the open road on his beloved motorcycle through Los Angeles, Utah, and across the Western states.
An avid skier, photographer, and videographer, Philippe brings the same sense of adventure, creativity, and attention to detail to his personal passions as he does to his professional work.
