Keep Your Hair Healthy!

Why You Should Never Rub Your Hair With a Towel

One of the most common mistakes people make after washing their hair is rubbing it with a towel — a habit that can secretly destroy your hair’s shine and softness.

When you rub wet hair, the towel acts like sandpaper, roughing up the cuticle (the outer protective layer of each strand). This leads to frizz, breakage, and dullness — the exact opposite of that smooth, silky look everyone wants.

What To Do Instead

After shampooing, gently squeeze out the excess water using your hands or a soft microfiber towel. Then blot, don’t rub. Wrap your hair in the towel to absorb moisture — this keeps the cuticle intact and preserves your natural shine.

Deep Clean and Revive

If your hair feels heavy or coated from product buildup, such as hairsprays, hair gels's or mousse it may be time for a reset.

Try adding a spoon of fresh baking soda to your moisturizing shampoo once or twice a month. Shampoo twice — the first wash removes residue from hairspray, mousse, or gels, and the second allows the shampoo’s conditioning ingredients to penetrate deeply.

Finish with a hydrating treatment like Luminous Repair Masque (LRM) by MOND™ Products. This will restore moisture, strength, and that radiant, healthy shine — without weighing your hair down.
